Plantbased Food



Pickled onions or cucumber (or why not carrots and other veggies) are an excellent complement to some dishes. It also happens to be the case that it is easy to do and does not take long at all.

As a breakfast, it is perfect; it takes very little time to make, one can prepare it in advance and it is filling and makes for a very good start of the day. I've found it difficult to make proper, smooth, hummus when I soak and cook dried chickpeas at home. As usual, I always keep my recipes very simple. I put everything except the cashews in the blender, when blended I added it to a pot and let it cook for a bit. I then added the cashews for some crunch. Don't forget to eat it with some bread, I ate it with a whole wheat bread with sunflower seeds from Kung Markatta....
